NO NEED TO GET IN A SPIN WITH THE DJ50
Next month (May 2012) sees KYMCO launch its latest sports scooter, the DJ 50, which promises to rival all other entry level 50cc models in terms of build quality, stylish design and value for money. The DJ 50 will be priced at just £1199, and comes with KYMCO's trusted 2-year unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty, as well as the support of a UK-wide recognised dealer network.

This is causing concern with many consumers who 'thought' they were getting an online bargain; instead, most have unfortunately experienced hidden warranty and delivery costs, with the scooters needing to be self-assembled – and the added hassle of organising the first registration through the DVLA and purchasing a number plate. All jobs a dealer would normally take care of.”
“More disturbing is the quality of some of these online scooters and bikes. The fact that they are not supported by a UK-wide dealer network also raises questions over where buyers go to get their bike serviced and maintained.”
Inflated petrol prices make riding small capacity scooters and bikes an attractive low cost means of transport for everyone aged 16 or over, but KYMCO, who have a rich heritage in manufacturing for brands like Honda, Kawasaki and latterly, BMW, warns everyone to be careful when buying unknown brands via the internet.

Powered by a 50cc four-stroke air-cooled engine with an automatic transmission, the KYMCO DJ 50 is a comfortable and easy bike to ride in the town or country. It features powerful front disc and rear drum brakes, a fuel tank capacity of 6 litres, a centre stand, rear carrier, lockable storage box under the seat – making it ideal for shopping trips - and has both electric and kick start.
In addition, the sports style graphic panels add a certain flare, and the DJ 50 will be available in either bright red/black or pearlescent white/black with 12” painted alloy wheels.
